The newly established Art Gallery @ Soho East, proudly presents the second exhibition “Sunny Side Up” ANN CHOI Photo Exhibition 2008, after the successful opening exhibition of international ink artist Mr. Kan Tai-keung’s “Ink Painting and Beyond”.
“Sunny Side Up” ANN CHOI Photo Exhibition 2008 is the famous local photographer Ann Choi first solo exhibition. The opening cocktail was held on 15 August at Art Gallery @ Soho East; celebrities and guests were invited to enjoy the exhibition. Ms. Hilda Wong, Senior Marketing Manager of K. Wah Real Estates, expressed her gratitude in the opening cocktail: “Thankyou all the guests and media for coming here tonight. Art Gallery @ Soho East, receives encouraging responses with wholly supports from international and local artists, and that provides the community with an ideal platform for art appreciation. The success of gallery reinforces K. Wah’s latest support in Hong Kong art scene. We wish through the art gallery we would, enrich the art and culture atmosphere in Island East, arouse the public awareness in local art, and offer a space for local artists to showcase their creative works and mind.” Ms. Hilda Wong specially thanked for the sponsor support from Canon and Cointreau for this show.
The famous local photographer, Ms. Ann Choi said: “With the support of Art Gallery @ Soho East, I can showcase my best works to the public, and realize my wish of exhibition accomplishment.” Ms. Ann Choi hopes to arouse everyone’s Sunny Side Up via her works, leaving the gallery with laughter and happiness.
Many celebrities and guests were attended in the opening, including famous science fiction writer Mr. & Mrs. Ni Kuang (倪匡), food critics & TV show host Mr. Chua Lam (蔡瀾), local screenwriter, director & DJ Mr. Matt Chow, DJ Alton Yu, and fashion designer Ranee K.
Ms. Ann Choi possesses years of experience in multimedia and photography industry. Having studied photography in Germany and the United States, Ann returned to Hong Kong to have her career in the multimedia industry. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Applied & Media Arts organized by Hong Kong Arts School and Hong Kong Polytechnic University; and also received her Master of Science in Multimedia & Entertainment Technology from School of Design, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

About Art Gallery @ Soho East
Art Gallery @ Soho East is a brand new art gallery located at the inspirational Soho East seafront. The first exhibition was held in June 2008 and many other art exhibitions will soon be showed at the gallery. K.
